This wonderful Santa was so much fun to design and create for you for our TDIPT Christmas in July offerings! Thank you so much for stopping by to take a closer peek at this handsome fella! He’s sure to bring a smile to your face with his welcoming grin, rosy cheeks and big blue sparkling eyes. Santa is all dressed in his Christmas finest from head to toe to help you celebrate the holiday season!
Santa is designed with a cone shaped bottom half and to hang on the wall. He is a wonderful size and will make a beautiful Holiday statement, measuring in at 40” from the tip of his fur trimmed Santa hat to the gold glitter star at the bottom of his cone shaped britches!
Santa is dressed in a festive red polka dot coat trimmed in red and cream stripes that match the red and cream stripe in his britches. His hat coordinates perfectly and is trimmed in winter white feathers around the top and bottom and then securely stitched in place.
Santa’s face just came to life when I painted his sparkly blue eyes and rosy cheeks. I embroidered his lips and teeth using a satin stitch and once completed, I must admit, his grin is what captured my heart!
Santa has a thick head full of gorgeous white hair. I used a long natural sheep’s wool and needle felted it securely in place. His eyebrows, beard and mustache were created from the same wool and also have been needle felted in place.
Santa has traditional stitched joints at the shoulders and elbows and I have machine stitched his fingers giving his hands a nice cupped look. Santa’s juggling two magical glittery snowballs (covered in mica flakes!) and a hand painted “BELIEVE” snowflake . Okay..he’s not really juggling, but it looks like he is, doesn’t it? hee hee
I hope you have enjoyed getting to know Santa. He is a Prim and Proper Folks original design and will come to you signed and dated! I have used no glue in the creation of Santa, just lots and lots of stitchin and love! He will come to you in my special Prim and Proper Folks packaging (that you will also be able to use to store him from year to year) with a little extra surprise just for you!
