Here is my Halloween rug for this month. I love this smiling black kitty sitting inside the pumpkin with the "oh, my gosh" look on his face. A spider has built a web in the corner, to add to the spooky feeling.
Pumpkin is hooked in shades of oranges, brown and eyes, mouth and nose are hooked in black/brown. Kitty is black/brown with bright gold eyes and gray was used for his mouth. Background is done in varying shades of gray greens. (Photo makes the background look tan) Hooked on burlap linen, bound with black cotton binding. Rug measures 13x13 inches. Comes signed, numbered and dated.
