Thanks so much for stopping by my spot on the TDIPT Mercantile!Please be sure to check out my slideshow at the bottom of the page for lots more pics.This month I have up for sale “Sophie”,an Autumn Princess.She measures 26 inches including her crown.Sophie is made entirely of my own patterns and designs.I have made her from Osnaburg fabric that I tea~stained.I have used artist’s pencils for her eyes,needle~sculpted her nose,and hand~embroidered her mouth with red floss.

I have made her dress from a very nice cotton.I have hand~made the trim that is on her neckline and cuffs.Sophie’s under~skirt is made from cheese cloth,her pantaloons are made from a very nice,brown checked cotton.I have made Sophie a white”Luminaria”pumpkin from painted Osnaburg to hold,it is not attatched.Once she is hung,it rests very nicely in the crook of her arm.Her arms are wired and poseable.I have also given her a fabric and cardstock cone filled with dried Sweet Annie.I have added a crepe~paper rosette and rusty jingle bell to the front of the cone.It is stitched to her hand.I have also stitched little rusty jingle bells to her distressed boots.

Sophie's hair is needle~felted from the most wonderful,brown sheep’s wool!I have finished her hair~do off with a crown that I made from very heavy cardstock that I covered inside and out,with the matching fabric to her pantaloons.I have lightly dusted it with Mica flakes,and it is removable for safe storage.Sophie is so sweet in person!Thanks so much for stopping by!
