Please come meet......."Edgar the Elephant"

I just love the way this old elly turned out! Edgar just loves Halloween...pumpkins, trick or treating, cats, bats and the cool crisp fall air.

Edgar measures approx 15" tall, not including his hat. He is made from English mohair that I custom dyed a great old Halloween burnt orange and a black. Edgar's head and body are burnt orange, his arms and legs are black. He has old shoe button eyes. The suit and hat are made from co-ordinating vintage style Halloween fabrics. The fabric hat has been stiffened to hold it's form. I made old "worn" holes and sewed up mending places in the suit & hat. His ears are lined with fabric from a 1920's Halloween costume. I have shaved & stained the mohair for an antique worn look and added mending stitches to his ears. His flag is made from vinatge style crepe paper which I attached to a wire. Edgar looks just like an old toy from the attic!

I just love the way this old cupboard hanger turned out! Hang it on a door knob, on an old pie safe or on your front door...it looks fun in lots of places!!!

This Spooky hanger measures approx 17" tall, from the top of his hat to the endof the jute. This head is made from English mohair in an old gold color perfect for fall. He has old shoe button eyes and a Perle cotton nose that has been sanded and waxed. I covered a heavy paper mache cone form in vintage style fabric. I added a rusty wire handle. The fabric hat has been stiffened to hold it's form. I sewed up mending places in the hat. I added rusty safety pins and a fun vintage style Halloween Bat button to the hat. I have distressed the entire piece for an old antique look.
