I'm welcoming fall this month with this content little scarecrow shelf sitter / table topper.

Osnaburg fabric was used to create him. As for the details, his eyes are acrylic and his nose and eyelids are hand stitched onto his face. I also gave him raffia hair and a hand stitched smile. An old burlap bag was used to make his hat and collar.

On top of his hat is a pesky little crow that seems to be nesting right on his head. He measures 8-1/2 inches tall and 10 inches wide.

This nesting owl is made from fabric that I hand painted. The owl has bendable wings. He is nesting on spanish moss and dried grapevines. The base is an architectural piece that may once have been part of a porch column.

The little mouse that sits on the base is 5 inches long and quite primitive looking.

This piece is big and heavy. The total height is 19 inches. While the base is a 10-3/4 inch square.

This bust was made from osnaburg fabric, firmly stuffed and painted. Her eyes are green acrylic and look so real. Her nose and eyelids were applied and stitched on. She has a full head of raw wool hair that has been needle felted into place. Her mouth is sculpted and stitched. Witch's skin has a faded green tone to it and she is attached to an old finial. This is another large piece, measuring almost 2 feet tall from the base to the top of her rusty bell tipped hat.
