Thank you for stopping by this month to take a peek at my offerings on the Mercantile this month. This month I was thinking an awful lot about Wynter :)

The Snowfolk Trinket box is a Back Porch Pickins Original and is a One of a Kind. I have attached the sweet snowfolk head to a wooden box. I have made the snowfolk trinket box in the same fashion as all of my dollies...with lots and lots of detail.

Snowfolk has is made of aged and painted osnaburg. Snowfolk has hand painted eyes with separate stitched on eye lids, a separate carrot nose and a curled wired mouth.

I have painted the box inside and out. The box is stenciled, antiqued and sealed. It is fully finished all the way around.I love the fabric that I used for the collar and cone hat. I have embellished the snowfolk for detail and whimsy.

Americana Snowcone is a Back Porch Pickins Original and is a One of a Kind. From tip of the curly q's to the bottom of the rusty bell, Snowcone is 22 inches tall. I have placed my hand in one of the pictures on the Photobucket slide show, you can see how large Snowcone is.

Snowfolk has is made of aged and painted osnaburg. Snowfolk has hand painted eyes with separate stitched on eye lids, a separate carrot nose and stitched smirk for a mouth.

The Snowfolk is stitched and mounted inside a paper mache cone. Accented with lots and lots of detail. I have painted, stenciled, antiqued and sealed the cone.

And last, but cetainly not least...My Vintage Style REAL German Glass glitter STAR Garland. The Star garland is a Back Porch Pickins Original.

Pictures simply do not do this garland justice and it looks so much better in person. I have hand cut each star out. The stars are 1.75 inches tall, "sugared" with REAL German glass glitter and it will tarnish over time.

The length of the garland is about 8 feet long, attached to wire and a rusty bell in between each Star. This garland can be used all year through and looks wonderful place just about anywhere.
