Meet little Marla the cat. She is 18" tall, made of stained osnaburg, has stitched on felt eyes and nose, embroidered eyebrows, wired arms, and is rag stuffed for that primitive feel. The hair is rust colored 100% sheep's wool. Marla is carrying a clay cat bucket that she hopes will fill up fast!!
The garment is a darling green cotton fabric, decorated with black garland and a vintage style black button; bloomers are green and white polka dot. Stockings are painted and sanded and her shoes are painted muslin with a black tinsel garland embellishment. She has cat ears that sparkle with black german glass glitter.
Everything is aged, sanded grungier and more muted than what appears in these photos.
This darling set of Raggedy Halloween spooks were inspired by Kaf Grimm, of Olde Cape Primitives, whose wonderful imagination has set the standard for many of today’s prim doll makers. One doesn’t have to look too far to see stitched on eyelids, ribbon badges, banners, clay pumpkins, short unstuffed wired arms ..ect. Thanks, Kaf!

When pumpkins gleam, 'tis Halloween!
Here's Lindy! What's more fun than a pumpkin on Halloween? Lindy is 21” from the tip of her hat to tip of toes, is made of stained and painted osnaburg, has stitched on felt eyes and nose, embroidered eyebrows, wired arms, and is rag stuffed for that primitive feel. She is carrying a clay pumpkin bucket for her Hallow's Eve sweet treats.
The garment is black with orange polka dots, decorated with orange tinsel, black and orange beads, and tiny hanging bats; bloomers are orange with black polka dots. Stockings are painted and sanded and her shoes are painted muslin with a orange tinsel garland embellishment. She wears a witches hat of painted muslin, with tinsel and bead band - has a little bat hanging off the side.

She is carrying a clay skull bucket, which she hopes is wayyy scary!
